SecureZIP® Enterprise Version 12 Maintenance Release 2
This maintenance release is available for all users of SecureZIP Enterprise for Windows 12.0 or 12.1 desktop under current maintenance. It provides the following enhancements and fixes:
This maintenance release requires a new license key from PKWARE. Your current v12.0 or v12.1 key will not work with this update. Contact PKWARE Customer Service or Technical Support to obtain a new key for this update.

- Improved policy manager interface for the display and configuration of policy settings
- 7320 - Added PKSFX option settings tab to policy manager
- 7386 - Corrected a problem that prevented changing the signing algorithm and locking it in the same step.
- 7388 - Corrected inconsistent references to option defaults in Policy Manager Help.
- 7398 - Corrected the tabbing order when setting policy certificates.
- 7404 - Corrected a problem causing Outlook 2007 to temporarily freeze when a corrupt policy file is encountered.
- 7405 - Corrected registry settings instructions in the policy manager Help on configuring policy on 64-bit systems.
- 7458 - Corrected a problem when entering a license key that may result in a program crash of the policy manager.

- 7359 - Corrected a problem with the UTF-8 being disabled when the Use 2.04g option is reset when restoring default options.
- 7389 - Improved memory usage when using SecureZIP options configuration dialogs.
- 7416 - Corrected a problem where an archive comment entered in English may display in the wrong language until the archive is closed and then reopened.
- 7417 - Corrected a problem when updating a file in an archive using either Speed or Fast compression levels where the file is stored instead of being compressed.
- 7454 - Corrected a problem signing using SHA256-512 that occurred only on Windows XP with Service Pack 3

- 6215 - Corrected a problem of an incorrect date appearing in the file replacement confirmation dialog.

SecureZIP® Command Line Interface Maintenance Release 7
This maintenance release is available for all users of SecureZIP Command Line Interface version 8.4 for Windows desktop. It provides the following fixes:
- 3276 - Corrected a problem with file names having trademark (TM) or copyright (c) symbols in the file name.
- 3936 - Corrected a problem with embedded archive files in a ZIP file where interim archive file was deleted when extracting.
- 4159 - Corrected a line wrapping problem when displaying machine information.
- 5745 - Revised program Help documentation to correct size values identified for use with the -span option.
- 5848 - Corrected a problem when re-installing the software which may result in an evaluation key being installed on a machine.
- 5871 - Improved formatting of log reports.
- 5947 - Resolved a problem where an additional prompt to enter a password may appear when encrypting using a contingency key.
- 5948 - Corrected a problem with an abnormal program termination occurring when a corrupt policy file is used.
- 6154 - Improved memory allocation processes.
- 6217 - Corrected a problem when using the -optionchar command that prevented reading archives from stdin and writing archives to stdout

Windows® Desktop Version 8.0 Maintenance Release 2
This maintenance release is available for all users of SecureZIP and PKZIP for Windows 8.0 desktop products. It provides the following enhancements and corrections:
SecureZIP
- Improved integration with the VeriSign® CA root.
- Fixed an isolated case where unsigned files could be inadvertently added to an archive regardless of policy settings.
PKZIP and SecureZIP
- Corrects situations where non-ZIP archives, which do not support encryption, could be created regardless of policy settings.
- Fixed rare cases where filename encrypted archives could not be extracted.
This release also includes enhancements from Maintenance Release 1:
PKZIP and SecureZIP
- Access to the default user key in the registry.
- Fixed certain situations where the Wizard .dll to failed to register.
- Corrected some instances where email integration did not load.
- Access to the VeriSign public directory server.
